Having said that, I imagine that there will be some tasks that a 13 year old won’t qualify for, for example offers that require credit card information.

How To Join Zoombucks

It is really easy to sign up to ZoomBucks and registration is free.

You can sign up to ZoomBucks in one of two ways, the first being to provide an email address and password and the second by using Facebook.

If you sign up using an email and password you will be sent a validation email message from ZoomBucks to ensure you own the email address.

Also when you sign up you will be asked to include other details such as your age, location and occupation.

Whilst, this is optional, it allows ZoomBucks to send you offers and surveys that match your particular location in the world as some offers and surveys are only applicable to the United States.

Like most GPT websites, you simply, have to answer a few questions or click on ads, watch videos or complete offers.

Answering surveys

Completing surveys is usually where the most money can be made, because they typically take the longest amount of time to complete. But, it depends on the length of the survey and where you live in the world.

Most big paying surveys come from companies in the United States who are interested in hearing from customers or potential customers of their products, to find out what they can do to improve or entice them into buying more.

You may not qualify for all surveys you take because of where you live in the world, your age, gender, whether you’re a stay at home mom etc. These companies are looking for consumers that are a close match for the products they produce.

Therefore, when embarking on a long survey, you will need to complete a pre-qualifying questionnaire, designed to determine whether you’re a good match.

Unfortunately, some of these questionnaires can take a bit of time to complete before you are actually able to start the survey, which can be a little annoying. You might apply for 10 surveys, that each have pre-qualifying questions only to be selected to take part in one or two.

Watching videos

ZoomBucks allows you to earn money from watching videos, which on the surface sounds like an easy way to earn money, apart from the fact that the videos are really boring.

They have different video channels to choose from, so that might be helpful in finding videos that appeal to your taste.

Often, you will have to watch a video for at least 1 minute in order for you to redeem points, however, in some cases you have to have your video playing on the active window, which means that you may NOT be able to open up several tabs in your browser at once and have the videos playing in the background.

Completing offers

Completing offers is one of the easiest ways to earn points, but there are a few things that you need to be aware of before you complete an offer.

Some offers only require an email address, which is easy enough, but, just make sure you use a throw away email address, and don’t be surprised to get an influx of email messages from a lot of different companies.

Instead of using money to show what you’ve earned, ZoomBucks uses an internal point system where 1 point is equal to $0.001. So, 1000 points is equivalent to $1 dollar.

Each task that you complete, whether it be watching videos, completing surveys and offers or visiting websites, helps you to earn points.

Each task yields different amounts of points, but it is usually those tasks that require the most amount of time and effort to complete that will earn you the most amount of money.

Therefore, a strategy would be to invest most of your time into those tasks that yield the most returns.

Having said that, some of the smaller tasks are so simple to complete that it would be stupid not to complete them. Some only require entering in your email address. So find a strategy that works for you.

Obviously, the more points you earn the more money you’ll make.

ZoomBucks has a very low threshold of only $3 dollars for withdrawal, which is equivalent to 3000 points.

How Does ZoomBucks Pay?

Once you reach 3000 points you can exchange your points for cash via Paypal or you can choose from a number of different gift cards on the site.

The site will take up to 48 hours to process your payment and you will get the funds transferred into your Paypal account if you opt to redeem your points for cash, or a gift card will be sent to your inbox.

What are people saying about Zoombucks?

ZoomBucks used to be around a long time ago, but shutdown for unknown reasons, and was only recently resurrected once GrabPoints (it’s parent company) was launched in 2014.

While, ZoomBucks has been reopened, there appears to be more people interested in GrabPoints than ZoomBucks. Both websites have identical format, only difference is the design and the various offers and tasks.

What I Like about Zoombucks

• ZoomBucks has a very low threshold of $3 for withdrawal, which means that you can get paid a lot sooner than some other GPT websites like Inboxdollars which has a threshold of $30.

• ZoomBucks gives you a wide range of gift cards to choose from when redeeming your points, including being paid out by cash using Paypal.

• ZoomBucks is free to join.

What I Don’t Like about Zoombucks

• The amount of points you accrue from completing each task is very low.  Some tasks are worth 250 points which on the surface looks significant, but unfortunately translates to only $0.25 cents.

• Like all survey websites, some surveys you will qualify for and others you won’t. This can be a little annoying given you will have to spend a lot of time pre-qualifying for surveys instead of using that time to get paid.

• Paid and non-paid offers, while potentially more lucrative than other tasks, can cost you more in the long run. Yes, you can cancel your subscription for trial offers, however some companies make it difficult for you to cancel your subscription which then invariably leads to you being billed.

Do I Recommend Zoombucks?

ZoomBucks is a legit website that you can make money with online, however, it is also time consuming and is not really worth the time and effort for the amount of money you earn.

ZoomBucks is a subsidiary of the same company that also owns Grabpoints, (another GPT) website, and from what I have seen, seems to be a more popular website for make money.

Having said that, they are basically the same as far is their earning potential.

Yes, you can earn money using these kinds of websites, but it is not a long term solution in my opinion.

I feel that your time and effort would be better spent on other money making endeavors that not only pay you in the short term, but continue to pay you whether you work or not.

There have been little to no complaints at all about the app not paying the cash back on certain purchases. There have been some complaints however, which are likely technical issues with the app.

What is Good about the GetUpside App

After learning more about the GetUpside app and what it offers, it’s time to discuss what is good about it.

• The first good thing about GetUpside is that this app gives you options when it comes to cashing out your money. You can choose to cash out via PayPal, check or exchange it for gift cards. This is great because it gives you the flexibility to choose what to do with the money you earn and how you are going to get it. Not everyone has PayPal, so having the option to cash out in check or gift card is great.

• I also consider it a good thing that GetUpside has partnered with a lot of gas stations, grocery stores and restaurant to give you a lot of different offers that you can take advantage of in order to get cash backs whenever you go shopping, gas up, or dine.

• It’s also good that GetUpside has a referral program, which allows you to earn more and to still use the app even if they have yet to partner with stores in your area. This allows you to still use and earn money from the app.

What is Bad about the GetUpside App

As good as this app sounds, there are also bad things about GetUpside that I’ll discuss here.

• My first issue with GetUpside is that they don’t accept cash payment. I understand that they need debit or credit card payments to be able to verify your identity as the person who really made the purchase. But it would still be great if they can find a way to incorporate cash, as not everyone is comfortable paying via debit or credit card.

• I also consider it a bad thing that the GetUpside app is only available in certain areas. This means that not everyone can take advantage of what it offers and you are very limited when it comes to the people that you can refer to the program.

Do I Recommend the GetUpside App?

Now that we know more about the GetUpside app and what it offers people, I would say that it is an opportunity I would recommend if the app is available in your area.

The app is a great way for you to earn cash backs whenever you gas up, do your groceries, or dine at certain restaurants.

This will allow you to save money on some of your purchases. Depending on your shopping activity, you are likely to earn cash back of $50 a month or more with this app.

It’s just a shame that this app is not yet available in all areas, but GetUpside is working on expanding their reach, so it likely won’t be long until the app can be used all over the U.S.

For now, you could download the app and give this opportunity a try if you are in the area that it is serving.

But you are not required to transcribe the whole file, as it will be split into portions and divided among the members.

You won’t be paid per completed work, but per audio hour and you will be paid in your TranscribeMe account.

The portion you need to transcribe will vary in time, as some will be as short as 10 seconds, while others will be as long as 1 minute.

The company believes that doing short transcription work instead of a long one is easier and faster to do.

Once all the pieces have been transcribed, TranscribeMe will join them together and pass it through a Quality Assurance stage.

Once the entire process is complete and is approved, it will be sent to the client.

The difference here is that you won’t be working on lengthy transcriptions, as the company splits them up in shorter lengths to make it more manageable and easier to do.

The starting pay for completing an hour of audio is $20, which the company sends to your TranscribeMe account.

You can withdraw your money via PayPal weekly.

The minimum payout usually changes, depending on the company.

You can earn more if you have a Legal or Medical background.

Having special skills like knowing a different language will also allow you to earn more in TranscribeMe.

Here are some of the basic requirements needed to get started at TranscribeMe:

• Be fluent in English
• Excellent understanding of English grammar and punctuation.
• Good hearing as this is the foundation of transcribing.
• You only need to have a reliable computer with high-speed internet.
• You will need a good headphone to hear the audio file well and you must use the Google Chrome web browser.

TranscribeMe Exam

As you can imagine, in order for you to work for as a Transcriber you must be able to complete certain tasks that adhere to specific standards.

So in order for you to work for TranscribeMe, they require you to pass a number of exams.

The company will provide you with a style guide that you can use to help prepare you for the exam test, so you be sure to study that document before embarking on your test.

Obviously, these test will be centered around your command of the English language including grammar and punctuation and you will get the majority of tips and tricks from the style guide.

You will be able to complete the test from TranscribeMe’s portal.

The first part of the test comprises some multiple choice answers and or to type in the correct response.

This is then followed by two audio files that you must transcribe.

You have two chances to pass the exam. If you don’t pass, there’s a 30-day waiting period before you can try again.

Once you have completed the application process and pass the exam, you can start working.

It is important to remember that work is not guaranteed on a daily basis, as this is reliant on the amount of transcription work the company has.

What I Liked about TranscribeMe

Now that we have an idea of what TranscribeMe is and how it works, it is time to discuss the things that I liked about the website.

• The first thing that I liked about TranscribeMe is that the transcription work you need to work on is not that long.Transcribing is a hard and grueling work, especially if the length of the audio you need to transcribe is long.Since TranscribeMe splits a long audio into several short audios, this makes it easier and more manageable to transcribe.
